Dark Blue Chambray

Dark Blue Chambray

With all the good looks of denim but a much more lightweight option, our blue chambray aprons are suited to baking, crafting and children’s aprons. This fabric is soft and will slightly fade over many washes giving it a beautiful, lived in appearance.

Each apron is handmade by love on my trusty Bernina sewing machine in the heart of Derbyshire.  Each one features cross over straps at the back for an easy, over the head fit and a stylish curved hem.  Large, double layered pockets are included with either the patterned or plain fabric on show; the patterned fabric is repeated on the inside of the neck-line for all options.  The aprons are made with a central seam for added strength and style.

Because of the cross-over strap design, each apron fits a wide range of sizes.

Small (UK 8-12) Approx. 75 cm (length: top of bib-front to hem) x 100 cm (width: from corner to corner).

Medium (UK 12-16) Approx. 78 cm (length: top of bib-front to hem) x 108 cm (width: from corner to corner)

Other sizes can be made to order – please see the Bespoke section.

All of our denims and chambrays should be washed separately (or with other dark colours) at 30-40°.  Please note that there may be some transfer of dye for the first few washes. Can be ironed but please do not use iron directly onto the Handmade Hardwear label.
